While some teams have already built their robots and are already running trial and error, Team 2612 just got their parts on Friday and will continue building until the 21st. Giving us only 12 days to build, wire it up, and program it. Ever since the parts arrived, we have been dedicated to committing extra hours to make sure the robot gets built. The mechanical aspect of the bot is almost complete. We have already built the chassis’ along with the shooting mechanism for the gear and ball. We are currently working on the pickup mechanism for the ball and gear as well as getting electrical finished.
When the parts weren’t delivered on time, the team was anxious as the end of build drew near. Finally, when the parts were delivered the attitude of the team was determination to build an outstanding robot.
